About Me
Frontend Architect · Accessibility · Open Source
Introduction
I'm Danny Koppenhagen – Frontend Architect at DB Systel GmbH, where I work on large-scale web applications for Deutsche Bahn. As part of a DevOps team, my focus is on making digital products more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.
I work with modern frameworks like Angular and React and am passionate about accessibility (a11y) and open source. I love sharing my knowledge with the community – through talks, articles, and contributions to open-source projects. I'm also co-author of one of the best-selling German-language books on Angular.
I believe in building software that is not only robust and scalable, but also intuitive, inclusive, and a joy to use.
k9n.dev?
Why k9n.dev? It's a numeronym where the number between the two letters represents the count of omitted letters in my last name (cf.: a11y, i18n, l10n, ...).
